GEOPOLITIK CHINA DI KAWASAN ASIA TENGGARA

Abstract

Abstract            Asia Tenggara adalah salah satu kawasan di Asia Pasifik yang memiliki nilai strategis tinggi khususnya di mata RRC. Bukan hanya secara ekonomi karena keberadaan dari berbagai titik strategis jalur perdagangan maritim tetapi juga di bidang militer sebagai daerah penyangga bagi terciptanya China yang kuat. Menurut analisa geopolitiknya, secara politik maupun sosial Kawasan ini memiliki kedekatan dengan RRC. Keterhubungan diantara keduanya tercipta oleh sejarah panjang dinamika kekaisaran Chian dengan kerajaan-kerajaan Asia Tenggara. Pada masa kini hal tersebut tidak menghilang begitu saja, bahkan RRC terlihat ingin membangkitkan keterhubugan itu kembali sesuai tingkat yang pernah ada di masa lalu. Tulisan ini akan menggunakan metode analisa geopolitik untuk membahas hubungan antara China dengan Kawasan di Asia Tenggara untuk menggali lebih jauh faktor-faktor yang membangun kondisi tersebut.Key words: Asia Pasifik, Asia Tenggara, China, Geopolitik, Metode Analisa Geopolitik
