Author Guidelines

Instructions for Authors

Manuscripts are required to be submitted by applying the online submission. Authors who use the system for the first time must register in advance in order to get an account and a password. Each author is expected to meet some standards and stipulations when preparing its manuscripts. Authors that have done the submission will face the first review by the chief of editor and simultaneously be forwarded to double-blind reviewers. Hence, prior to submit the complete manuscripts, please assure that all of the personal information (author's name, institution, email address) should be excluded from the manuscript.

Research Article

A research article is based on genuine and empirical research that employs reliable academic methodology. It welcomes article which uses quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods. A research article has the following parts

  • Title: The title should consist of a maximum of 20 words.
  • Abstract: An abstract should be around 100– 200 words. Present a brief summary of the research question that will be addressed, the method employed, a summary of results and discussion, and conclusions drawn.
  • Introduction: A concise introduction will often insert a review of the existing literature on the topic studied, and explain the basis of the author’s study.  This part also illustrates the significance of this study to the existing academic literature.
  • Method: This part outlines the methodology on how to collect the data whether it is quantitative, qualitative or the combination of both.
  • Literatur Riview: This part explain a collection of theories used and related to manuscript
  • Result adn Discussion: This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data.  The research results and the discovery must be the answers, or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part. The following components should be covered in the discussion: How do your results relate to the original question or objectives outlined in the Introduction section (what/how)? Do you provide interpretation scientifically for each of your results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with what other investigators have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences?
  • Conclusion: The author should provide the conclusion by briefly restating the result so that answering the research question. The author is also required to discuss the implications of the research findings.
  • References. These are the list of academic articles and books or other primary resources utilize for the article.

References should be cited in the text as name and year within brackets and listed at the end of the paper alphabetically. Where reference is made to more than one work by the same author published in the same year, identify each citation in the text as follows: (Collins, 1998a), (Collins, 1998b). Where three or more authors are listed in the reference list, please cite in the text as (Collins et al., 1998).

All references must be complete and accurate.

For references, authors are advised to use the APA Style (7th ed).

Page numbering should be at the bottom center of each page.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of the content of their paper and shall avoid plagiarism at all time. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in rejection.


 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Neo Politea's spirit is to disseminate articles published are as free as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, Neo Politea permits users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only. Users will also need to attribute authors and Neo Politea on distributing works in the journal and other media of publications.

  1. Rights of Authors

Authors retain all their rights to the published works, such as (but not limited to) the following rights;

  • Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
  • The right to use the substance of the article in own future works, including lectures and books,
  • The right to reproduce the article for own purposes,
  • The right to self-archive the article,
  • The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the article's published version (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal (Jurnal Neo Politea).
  1. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. Neo Politea will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. Neo Politea will only communicate with the corresponding author.

  1. Royalties

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) aware that Neo Politea entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees. 

  1. Miscellaneous

Neo Politea will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. Neo Politea's editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
