Abstract

Tingginya angka stunting di Kabupaten Bandung Barat menjadi alasan peneliti untuk mengkaji tentang kebijakan Unit Pelaksana Teknis Keluarga Berencana dalam Pencegahan Stunting di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Diharapkan dengan adanya implementasi kebijakan Unit Pelaksana Teknis Keluarga Berencana dalam Pencegahan Stunting di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy ini dapat menekan angka stunting di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kebijakan pencegahan stunting di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy Kabupaten Bandung Barat model konseptual menggunakan teori Edward II dari aspek; komunikasi, sumberdaya, disposisi/sikap pelaksana, dan struktur birokrasi. Peneliti ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tenik pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan implementasi kebijakan Unit Pelaksana Teknis Keluarga Berencana dalam pencegahan stunting di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy Kabupaten Bandung Barat belum berjalan secara maksimal, dalam hal ini terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaannya seperti dalam sosialisasi, karena masih minimnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengetahui efek jangka panjang dari stunting.
