Abstrak

Pada tahun 2017, terjadi pembantaian massal terhadap etnis Rohingya di negara bagian Rakhine, Myanmar yang menarik perhatian ASEAN. ASEAN membentuk badan khusus bernama AICHR (ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights) untuk menangani isu-isu HAM terkait kasus ini. Namun, karena prinsip non-intervensi ASEAN, AICHR harus menjalankan misinya dengan hati-hati. Dalam artikel ini, penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami kontribusi AICHR dalam kasus Rohingya, dengan fokus pada pengaruh ASEAN Way. Tujuan utama dari artikel ini adalah untuk mencari solusi menyeluruh untuk kasus Rohingya, dan untuk itu dibahas dua gagasan besar, yaitu AICHR dan ASEAN Way secara parsial dan keseluruhan.
