Authors wishing to submit a manuscript to THE GIST: Jurnal Sastra dan Bahasa must use the online submission system (OJS). Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Registration

If you are a new user, create an account at journal2.unfari.ac.id by clicking "Register." Fill in all required fields and activate your account via the confirmation email.

Step 2: Starting the Submission

After logging in, navigate to "New Submission" from your User Home page. Follow the 5-step submission process in OJS:

1. Start: Select the section, confirm checklist items, and add any comments to the editor.
2. Upload Submission: Upload your manuscript file in .doc or .docx format.
3. Enter Metadata: Enter the manuscript title, abstract, keywords, and author information.
4. Upload Supplementary Files: Upload any supporting materials if applicable.
5. Confirmation: Review your submission details and confirm to complete the process.

Step 3: Submission Checklist

Before submitting, ensure that:

• The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
• The manuscript follows all formatting and structural guidelines.
• All references are formatted according to APA style.
• The manuscript addresses topics within the scope of language and literature studies.
