Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to describe the structure macro, superstructure, and also micro structure in online news discourse texts that lead to the Covid-19 case reported by CNN media. The method used is the method of documentation and media text content analysis. The results of this study indicate that in the five Covid-19 cases reported by CNN, most of the macro-structure and superstructure elements were fulfilled. In the micro structure: rhetorical section, there are several elements that are not found in the five news stories.
