Abstrak

Diuretik adalah suatu zat yang dapat meningkatkan laju pengeluaran volume urin. Secara klinis, obat golongan diuretik bekerja dengan cara menurunkan laju reabsorbsi natrium dari tubulus sehingga menyebabkan nutriuresis (peningkatan pengeluaran natrium) dan kemudian menimbulkan efek diuretik (peningkatan pengeluaran air). Daun jonge memiliki konstituen kimia menghasilkan isolasi banyak metabolit yang beragam secara struktural, seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, kumarin, asam organik dan sebagainya. Pengujian diuretik dilakukan dengan menguji ekstrak etanol eskatrak etil asetat dan ekstrak n hexan daun jonge dengan metode pengamatan volume urin selama waktu 6 jam dengan jumlah hewan uji mencit 25 ekor di masukan ke dalam tabung metabolisme dan di ukur volume urin per waktu. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa kelompok perlakuan aquadest sebagai kontrol negatif diperoleh sebanyak 0.21 mL, kelompok perlakuan furosemid sebagai kontrol positif sebanyak 2.45 mL, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan ekstrak etanol sebanyak 1,85 mL, kelompok perlakuan ekstrak etil asetat sebanyak 1,78 mL, dan kelompok perlakuan ekstrak N hexan sebanyak 1.22 mL Secara statistik terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara ekstrak etanol, ekstrak etil asetat dan ekstrak n hexan daun jonge dibandingkan dengan jumlah pengeluaran volume urin kelompok kontrol positif dengan taraf α=0,05. Kata Kunci : Diuretik, daun Jonge, ekstrak Etanol, ekstrak etil asetat, ekstrak n hexan.
