Abstrak

Seiring bertambahnya usia, masalah yang sering muncul pada usia lanjut yaitu timbulnya rasa nyeri pada bagian sendi yang disebut osteoarthritis. Salah satu pemberian terapi untuk osteoarthritis yaitu pemberian Obat Anti Inflamasi Non Steroid (OAINS) pada usia lanjut harus diperhatikan dengan baik sehingga dapat tercapainya tujuan terapi untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup jika pemberian terapi tepat atau rasional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan rasionalitas penggunaan OAINS dengan derajat osteoarthritis pada pasien usia lanjut rawat jalan di salah satu Rumah Sakit Umum swasta Kota Cimahi pada Januari – Desember 2022. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian non eksperimental dengan desain deskriptif retrospektif. Hasil penelitian dari 116 pasien, rasionalitas penggunaan OAINS pada kriteria tepat indikasi, tepat pemilihan obat, tepat dosis, tepat cara pemberian, tepat interval waktu pemberian, dan tepat lama pemberian terapi pada osteoarthritis grade 1 (74,05%), osteoarthritis grade 2 (79,57%), osteoarthritis grade 3 (92,60%) dan osteoarthritis grade 4 (96,97%). Analisis hubungan rasionalitas penggunaan OAINS derajat osteoarthritis dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS versi 23 dengan uji Rank Spearman didapatkan p value < 0,05 menunjukkan terdapat hubungan rasionalitas penggunaan OAINS dengan derajat osteoarthritis. Hasil analisis pada kriteria tepat indikasi (nilai korelasi = 0,497) dan tepat pemilihan obat (nilai korelasi = 0,398) memiliki korelasi positif dengan kekuatan hubungan moderat/cukup. Sedangkan pada kriteria tepat dosis (nilai korelasi = 0,147) dan tepat interval waktu pemberian obat (nilai korelasi = 0,090) memiliki korelasi positif dengan kekuatan hubungan lemah dan kurang berarti.
