Analisis Tampilan WEB Responsive Studi Kasus : Situs Dicoding, Detik dan Rumah Zakat

Abstract

Internet technology that has penetrated into the world of gadgets such as tablets, ipads, notebooks and smartphones has changed the appearance of the web that was built and looks good on the desktop. So that the web view that is created can match the tool that is opening and accessing it, a responsive web view is made. Responsive theory was introduced by Ethan Marcotte who stated three basic techniques in responsive design, namely: fluid grids used for flexible layouts, media queries used to adjust content to the desired size and flexible images & media used to respond to changes in the size of the media accessing it. The goal of making a responsive WEB is so that the web created doesn't fall apart when opened by various devices that access it, so that developers don't have to think about, learn and use various other programming languages to build applications on a particular gadget.

Abstrak
Teknologi internet yang sudah merambah ke dunia gadget seperti tablet, ipad, notebook dan smartphone membuat tampilan web yang dibangun dan terlihat bagus di desktop menjadi berubah tampilannya. Agar tampilan web yang dibuat dapat sesuai dengan alat yang sedang membuka dan mengkasesnya dibuatlah tampilan web yang responsive. Teori responsive diperkenalkan oleh Ethan Marcotte yang menyatakan tiga teknik dasar dalam design responsive yaitu : fluid grids digunakan untuk flexible layout, media queries digunakan untuk menyesuaikan konten pada ukuran yang diinginkan dan flexible images & media yang digunakan untuk merespon perubahan ukuran media yang mengkasesnya. Tujuannya dibuatnya web responsive adalah agar web yang dibuat tidak berantakan ketika dibuka berbagai perangkat yang mengaksesnya, sehingga developer tidak perlu memikirkan, mempelajari dan menggunakan berbagai bahasa pemrograman lainnya untuk membangun aplikasi di suatu gadget tertentu.
