Abstract

Diabetes Melitus merupakan suatu kondisi dengan gangguan metabolik karena organ pankreas gagal memproduksi hormon insulin, yang ditandai dengan adanya peningkatan kadar gula dalam darah atau hiperglikemia di atas nilai normal. International Diabetes Federation (IDF) menyatakan bahwa pada tahun 2019 sebanyak 463 juta (9,3%) orang pada usia 20-79 tahun yang menderita Dibetes Melitus di seluruh dunia, diperkirakan akan terjadi peningkatan menjadi 578 juta orang pada tahun 2030 dan 700 juta orang pada tahun 2045. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan obat antidiabetes oral pada penyakit Diabetes Melitus tipe II di Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUD Subang periode Juli-Desember 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis yang dilakukan secara retrospektif terhadap rekam medik pasien. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 311 pasien dengan terdiagnosa Diabetes Melitus tipe II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan yang didiagnosis Diabetes Melitus tipe II sebanyak 210 (67,5%) sedangkan laki-laki sebanyak 101 (32,5%). Rentang usia dominan penderita Diabetes Melitus tipe II adalah pada usia 38-53 tahun sebanyak 180 pasien (57,9%). Obat antidiabetes yang sering diresepkan terapi tunggal golongan biguanid yaitu metformin sebanyak 76 pasien (24,4%) dan terapi kombinasi metformin dan glimepiride sebanyak 69 pasien (22,2%). Ketepatan dosis obat antidiabetes oral sebanyak 311 pasien (100%) tepat dosis sesuai dengan aturan MIMS dan ditemukan interaksi obat sebanyak 112 kasus (36%).
